Who played guitar on the Robert Palmer "Simply Irresistable" video?

Love that tune, love the Robert Palmer girls. Was enjoying the Billy
Gibbons-style guitar tone and the little Randy Rhoads-style shred
section when I saw that it's a woman playing it. No face, just her
body (and naturally a quick cleavage shot). Who was it???

uh...yeah well, it was either a guy named Martinez or a guy named Andy
Taylor, I don't remember which by that time.

i asked because in the video it's a woman -- but maybe they just
taught her to play a good fake guitar.

The video was done after the recording - and they were just models. If you
look - there's no interaction between Palmer and the girls - they were filmed
at different times even... they're not even in time to the beat of the song -
it was a Producers vision.

Did you actually think that was his band behind him?

i wasn't paying attention, really. i just thought that the guitarist's
fingers looked pretty accurate and when i saw the cleavage, i was
doubly impressed.

actually it kinda also sounds like Kerry King could have done the guitar track(s)
and also on Addicted to Love. but I really do not know who the
actual guitar player was that laid the tracks in the studio.

Andy Taylor DEFINITELY put down Addicted To Love. Eddie Martinez
probably did Simply Irresistible.

According to Wikipedia, the three guitarists that appear on the "Heavy
Nova" album are John Grey, Dennis Budemir, and Eddie Martinez. I can't
find anything more specific about who plays what on what tracks.

Some German chick played guitar. Karen Carpenter plyed drums.
